  • * 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • * Pinch of salt

Instructions

  2. Add water, brown sugar, white sugar, pumpkin purée, pumpkin pie spice, maple syrup, and salt to a small saucepan.
  3. Whisk well and cook on medium-low heat.
  4. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 4 to 6 minutes, stirring often.
  5. Turn off the heat and add vanilla extract.
  6. Strain through a fine mesh strainer for a smoother syrup.
  7. Let the syrup cool completely.
  8. Pour into a clean airtight jar or bottle.
  9. Store in the fridge for up to 1 to 2 weeks. Shake or stir before using.

Notes

Use 1 to 2 tablespoons in coffee, lattes, chai, hot chocolate, iced coffee, pancakes, waffles, or oatmeal.
